Terms of sale

1. Who we are
Splashzilla is a UK-based design studio producing made-to-measure printed shower and bathroom wall panels. “Splashzilla” is a UK trading name; you can reach the team at hello@splashzilla.com. These terms apply to quotes requested through splashzilla.com and to any order that follows.
2. Quotes, not instant checkout
The price shown in the designer is a careful estimate. When you send us a design we confirm the exact delivered price and production timetable by email — usually within 48 hours — before anything is made and before any payment is taken. Nothing is owed until you accept your quote in writing.
3. Made to measure — your measurements
Every panel is produced individually to the dimensions you enter, to a cutting tolerance of 0.5 mm. Please measure carefully: you are responsible for the dimensions, panel selection and artwork placement you approve at quote time. We send a final written confirmation of all dimensions with your quote so there are no surprises.
4. Cancellation rights
Because your panels are custom-made to your specification, the cooling-off period in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once production has started (regulation 28(1)(b), goods made to the consumer’s specification). You may cancel at no cost at any point before we confirm production has begun. None of this affects your statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5. Your artwork
When you upload a photo you confirm that you own it or hold the rights needed to have it printed, and that it contains nothing unlawful. We review every order before production and may decline artwork we reasonably believe infringes someone else’s rights, with a full refund of anything paid. Gallery artwork is licensed for this use.
6. Colour and screens
Printed colour can differ slightly from what your screen shows — screens are backlit, panels are not. Our sample pack exists exactly for this; if colour is critical, order one before confirming.
7. Delivery and damage
Delivery timescales and our transit-damage promise are set out in Delivery & returns. In short: if a panel arrives damaged, photograph it within 48 hours and we replace it — that is our problem, not yours.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. Panels must be installed following the fitting guidance we supply; we cannot accept liability for damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable adhesives or unsound substrates.
9. These terms
English law applies and the English and Welsh courts have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings at home). If we update these terms, orders already quoted stay on the terms they were quoted under.
